The Toronto Blue Jays have signed up with theScoreBet as their exclusive sponsor.

On Friday, Penn Gaming said that its theScore Bet brand has become the Official Gaming Partner of the Toronto Blue Jays.

An Historic Alliance

As the first significant sports collaboration in the country, theScore Bet and the Toronto Blue Jays’ 10-year sponsorship contract is bound to give baseball fans exciting new ways to enjoy the game they love.


This agreement also marks the first time a sports betting business has partnered with Major League Baseball as a gaming supplier. After the province of Ontario officially launched its regulated iGaming and sports betting business on April 4, theScore Bet struck the historic deal. The sports betting company also holds Responsible Gaming Council certification.

Sole Authorization to Market

Sports betting, California casinos, internet gambling, and daily fantasy sports are just some of the gaming categories that theScore Bet has exclusive marketing rights to in the United States per the conditions of the sponsorship deal.


At Rogers Centre, the home of the Blue Jays, the team and theScore Bet will work together to build a branded, premium sports bar and restaurant that will be a year-round destination for Blue Jays fans.


theScore Bet CEO John Levy made a statement on the partnership, highlighting the two companies’ common Canadian roots. He is thrilled to be forming a “foundational partnership” with the Canadian baseball team, an institution “that is deeply embedded” in Canadian society and culture.


Levy said that by joining together with the Blue Jays, “exciting new exclusive marketing opportunities” will be made available to theScore Bet and that the company would have access to a “huge audience of passionate and engaged fans” at Rogers Centre and elsewhere.

As part of the agreement, theScore Bet and the Blue Jays will provide innovative in-stadium and online experiences for sports fans and bettors. Two portions of the baselines will be reserved for premium seating, while additional amenities and experiences relevant to the club and the game will be available throughout the stadium.
